Having won the prestigious Redbull Music Academy competition in 2001 Paul went on to run a band/dj based night in Liverpool called "No-Logo's". Taking this to The Masque and Zanzibar over a period of two years. In the summer of 2007 picking up a residency at Liverpool's alternative music venue Korova he was quickly snapped up to become a EVOL resident. Supporting acts such as 2 Many DJ's, Vitalic, Kissy Sell Out, Metronomy and Foals.

Fast forward a year and the night Bibliotheque was born, initially fusing a blend indie/electro. Trying to cover grounds to an indie based crowd. As the Korova policy being new and alternative he tried to bleed the cool indie kids into a more electro sound. Giving them what they knew and also a lesson of what was new? Furthering the style to nu disco, vintage electro clash, alternative 80's pop, mega electro, afro/acid house with a Dash of techno, be it a sprinkling of techno across the boundary. Techno is king. Also playing the same bill as Surgeon in Manchester's techno night Colour.

2009-10 was the start of something big. The year of playing Chibuku. Having played on numerous occasions this year in all rooms supporting DJ's Kissy Sell Out, Riton, Dj Medhi, Annie Mac Toddla T and Felix Da Housecat, Crookers and DJ Pierre.

2009's festival season saw MrPaul grace the stage at UK festivals The Isle of Wight and V-Festival in Stafford, as well as going out to DJ The Lake of Stars festival in Malawi for a second time. With slots in V Festval Stafford and Creamfields in 2010. Currently resident @ The Peacock Liverpool playing from Disco-house-techno.

Paul is setting up a new monthly project, Dicoteca Poco @ Liverpool's newest venue The Shipping Forecast. The first booking is Disco maestro Toby Tobias on the 1st October.... followed buy Maurice Fulton (5th November), and Serge Santiago (3rd December)
