Milton Jackson Intro:
Bionic Boy received plaudits from Tom Middleton, Laurent Garnier and Ashley Beadle – Jockey Slut called MJ `the most exciting thing to happen to UK house music' and awarded the album 5 stars. Bionic Boy spawned some memorable singles; Sunlight even got a review in NME, `Dimensional' tickled Romanthony's feathers so much he asked to remix it. After the success of Bionic Boy and the accompanying live tour, EPs were completed for the likes of Black Vinyl, Bear Trax (Milton's own label) and Omid 16B's Alola. A plethora of pseudonyms were adopted - Mitchell Sphynx, Obelix, Napoleon Solo, Play-Boy and Emjay. Milton even worked with a young Mylo on their `Pretty Boys' project.

2006 saw a return to form for the producer and a hectic DJ Schedule, taking in dates across Europe, America and Japan. A new relationship was formed with Jimpster's Freerange (DJ Mag label of the year) and saw collaborations with fellow deep house don Shur-i-kan. The 2 released `I Want It' and `Special Powers' (BBC Dance single of the month) to great acclaim. From there a compendium of EPs followed for the likes of Tsuba, Crack & Speed, Silver Network and Icon. Not to mention 3 EPs released on top UK label Urbantorque (which picked up plays from John Digweed)

2007 saw the release of some of `Cycles', an uplifting melodic extravaganza receiving plays and plaudits from Ben Watt, Jimpster, Carl Cox, Carl Craig, Mike Monday and Vincenzo. It was voted by 200,000 Buzzin Fly radio listeners as one of their top 10 tracks of the year. A remix for Groove Armada's Andy Cato started to cement Milton's reputation as someone who consistently provides interesting, melodic and varied deep tech-house.

From here Milton started playing live dates and engaged in a frantic DJ schedule. Venues and countries visited included Womb Club in Tokyo, Fabrik Goa Madrid, Bratislava, Rex Club Paris, Budapest, Club Maria Berlin, Bataclan Paris, Katowice Poland, Sonar in Barcelona, Tallinn Estonia, Portugal, Kobe Japan, Tel Aviv, Dubai and all over the UK.

2008 saw Milton's most successful single to date – Ghosts In My Machines. A firm Miami favourite and played by DJs as diverse as Sebo K, Justin Martin and Jimpster this track was released as part of Freerange's 100th release. One of the most popular deep house tracks of 2008, it went down a storm when Milton played it live at the Sonar festival.

Future plans include a new album for Freerange in 2009 entitled `Crash' with accompanying video and a new label in collaboration with Shur-i-kan entitled Dark Energy Recordings.
