At the age of 8, I used to spend all my time in front of the radio, recording my own mix tapes. I loved the electro sound of the 1980's!!! Then BOOOOM the 90's arrived ACIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID!!!!!!!!!!! Fell in love with the underground rave scene, Was heavily influenced by artists, such as Joey Beltram, Josh Wink, The Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox, The Shamen ( Mr.C ), Dave Clarke and The Prodigy!!! Then out comes Carl Cox's F.A.C.T 1 Cd. For me, the best mix EVER! Still to this day. I had my first experience of being high, whilst glued to this interestin blend of Trance AND Techno. That was it for me, I decided there and then, I had to learn how to mix tracks together as good as this. I HAD TO BECOME A DJ!!!!!!

So whilst unhappily working as a lab technician, i saved up enough money for my first, proper dj set up.(2x Technics 1210 mk3's and a Pioneer DJM600 mixer) OMG waking up to these babies EVERY DAY was like Christmas all the time!!!!! It still is, haha. Also, was finally old enough to get into clubs and see the dj's/artists i'd spent the last 10 years listenin' to and learning from. Clubs/Nights such as Cream, Circus, Sankey's Soap, Bugged Out!!!!, Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Voodoo!!!!, The Orbit and The Lemon Lounge. Obviously the next 10 years were spent getting destroyed in night clubs with like minded friends ( YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!! ), meeting amazing people, making contacts and collecting vinyl that opened my mind!!!! Seriously messy times but, I've NEVER been so happy!!!!! Thanks to all those involved!!!!!!!!!!

Living in St.Helens UK, where the music is primarily funky houes,electro and r'n b, it was really tough finding gigs that i could express my underground tech house vibe. Never the less, i jumped at the opertunity to mix in front of a crowd and got involved with the local bar scene playing warm up sets at the very successful Fragile night that my very good friends Ben Jones & Jay Balmer created. Playing there on the odd occasion doing warm up sets was a good chance to show a strong crowd of 700+ people, that i could mix well, do a good set and and learn how to build a crowd up professionaly. Thanks Ben & Jay for a great opportunity and good times!!!!!! (messy haha!!) After playing various gigs and doing well in dj competitions on the local circuit, i eventually get the chance to dj at The Lemon Lounge in liverpool for a night called 8Ball. At last, a chance to play music i love and mould it around a crowd!!!!!!. 8Ball is a hedonistic blend of progressive tech trance and i play tech house. My sets usually start off with phat, chunky, groovy house, with bass lines to DIE for. Then i go deeper into an acid sound then build up to techno, incorporating a little tech trance along the way. To this day i still play at my monthly residency at 8Ball @ The Lemon Lounge with Shaun Bowden( creator of 8 Ball).
