Ged Lever is a man of many styles. His first set of decks were a pair of belt drive Stanton's bought when he was 15 with the intention of being the next Mixmaster Mike or DJ Shadow.

Starting off mixing the likes of Jurassic 5, Pharoe Monch, The Wu Tang Clan, Cannibal Ox, Aesop Rock & Big Pun amongst numerous other underground Hip Hop behemoths, Ged eventually progressed towards Trance music. Inspired by the wave of Dj's and Producers such as Richard Durand, Simon Patterson, Leon Bolier & Sander Van Doorn to name a few, Ged was drawn to the tougher, more technical side of dance music which then lead to local legend Steve Parry & Cream resident Jemmy pushing House & Techno records in his direction on his three to four weekly visits to local record store 3beat.

Thats when Ged found his musical standpoint. Finally settling on the blistering sounds of Paul Woolford, Sébastien Léger, Dubfire, Seth Troxler, Oliver Huntemann, Minilogue, Martin Buttrich and many many more, while at the same time progressing onto an underground house style championing the sounds of Gadi Mizrahi, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Anja Schnieder, Dj T, M.A.N.D.Y., Loco Dice, DJ Sneak & Derrick May to name a mere few, Ged has developed a style very unique to most other djs. Often infusing Hip Hop & Glitch into his sets aswell as the occasional bit of Dubstep and Electronica, while keeping his ear very much to the scene that he started Dj'ing on, Hip Hop.

WIth gigs supporting Lemos, Glimpse & and some local heroes, and with upcoming gigs supporting Le Loup (Wolf + Lamb), securing a space on a line up with more underground credibility than most other nights could even imagine, the one and only mUmU presents Circoloco @ silo, with Matthias Tanzmann, Praslea, Yaya, Hector & Rhadoo. Aswell as playing along side Chibuku star Mr Paul, Gareth Cheshire (Circus) & Voodoo legend Mike Williams at Liverpool's hottest bar The Peacock.

2010 looks to be a good year for this rising star, expect filthy beats and technical masterclass all the way.x
