DJ Patience has been one of Liverpool's most prolific funk, soul and hip hop DJ's for the past 3 and a half years. Originally mixing, scratching and cutting rare original funk and soul from his extensive collection, DJ Patience's style has progressed and diversified into funky hip hop, reggae and latin over the years but his sets always retain an eye for high quality tunes, crowd pleasing combinations and a quick mixing style.

Over the years he has played alongside anyone who's anyone in the Liverpool funk and soul scene including The Herbaliser, Breakestra, The James Taylor Quartet, DJ Snowboy, Keb Darge, Krafty Kuts and many more. He has also supported many hip hop and reggae acts including Horace Andy, Phi-Life Cypher, Skinnyman, DJ Shortkut and the Platinum Pied Pipers to name a few.

DJ Patience is a founder and resident at FNUK Liverpool's biggest funk and soul night held monthly at The Magnet, and is also resident at Sunday Service, SS@Caledonian and GoodFoot at Bar Fresa.

DJ Patience also guests regularly at other nights in Liverpool including No Fakin', Dusty Hustle, LiveBeats, Strange Fruit and plays at a selection of venues across Liverpool such as Zanzibar, Heebie Jeebies, Bar Ha Ha, Lemon Lounge etc
