Ian Knowles Intro:
IK is one of hard dances best-kept secrets in the UK, both as a DJ and a producer. Focusing solely on maximum dance floor effect. Ian has already accumulated some very impressive remix credits and has already been involved in 5 top ten hits. He has already proven his worth across the spectrum of dance styles with his productions from Euro trance/Hard Trance/Hard House/Hard Style & Techno.

2003 seen the release of his debut single under his own name called "United As One" which then went on to be released across Europe and found its way onto compilations as far as Australia and USA. But Ian's agenda wasn't solely focused on main stream trance with his darker side he went on to release an absolute monster techno hard dance track under his IK guise called "Times Are Changing", which received tremendous support from the major players and is still doing the rounds to this day. This and a few remixes for Nukleuz gave IK a foot into the hard dance scene.

2004 seen Ian hit the big time as a producer clocking up remixes of some of the anthems of 2004. Early on in the year was the release of Boogie Pimps "Somebody To Love" which featured Ian's remix and due to the vast amount of support it received allowed Ian to follow with a string of remixes for Ministry Of Sounds label Data with Magnolia "All In Vain" and the soon to be released DT8 "Winter". It wasn't just Data that picked up on his talents Ian at this point was clocking up numerous remixes of Ian Van Dahl and remixes for Lasgo, Space Brothers & Electroheadz to name a few.

2005 has already ready seen what's to come from Ian as a collaboration with Marcella Woods called "Almost Got Over You" is due to be released and his follow up IK track X-Bass has caused some serious noise in the hard dance Circuit and capped off with an awesome Yoji Biomehanika Remix which has been released on hell house, Ian is really set to cause a storm this summer!

Aside from the producing. A big part of who IK is has gone into the DJ'ing. This being the primary focus of his for a long long time. IK is already causing a stir and making A-Listers feel threatened by his talent. IK has spent along time mastering the skills that have the likes of Dave Clarke and Eddie Halliwell to fame. He is able to blend his mixes incredibly well whilst dropping prolonged scratches at dance tempo which seem to bounce and skim over the records. IK has already had the chance to showcase these skills as he remixed a series of 3 "New Dance" compilations for cover mounts of the Star Newspaper in which a total of 1.5 million units were released making it one of the biggest cover mount projects in the UK. Ian has since played many of the major events across the Northwest and has taken DJ'ing to the next level as he now combines his skills as a producer to remix/redub tracks for the live audience. This alongside with his shier confidence and showmanship on the stage make Ian one hottest talent in the industry at the moment!
