Dj Woody Intro:
Battle for battle Woody officially proved himself as the worlds most successful battle dj of 2001 gaining more major titles than any of his contemparies. Woody went on to make history by becoming the first ever Brit to take the coveted World ITF Championship title in San-Francisco, following in the footsteps of legendary dj's such as DJ Babu (Dilated Peoples) and A-Trak (Allies).

As a club Dj Woody has played up and down the country with some of hip hop's biggest names and is currently resident at 'No Fakin'' in Liverpool (Hip Hop Connection Club of the Year). On the international circuit Woody has worked in South Africa, Russia, Germany, Trinidad, Venezuela, Italy, Canada and India. Recruited for the extensive US SUPERRAPPIN'TOUR alongside highly acclaimed US artists Lootpack, Declaime, Lone Catalist, DJ Dopey & Ptrix, Dj Woody also provides cuts for UK rap pioneers Krispy (formally Krispy 3) and features on their mini LP 'Millenium Funk' (Bomb Records).

On the radio front Dj Woody contributed 2 live sessions at Maidavale studio for John Peel Show BBC Radio One in 2000 and 2001. Numerous regional radios shows in the UK and in S.Africa. Dj Woody is part of the TABLE GIMPS Crew together with the Scratch Master RITCHIE RUFTONE, and Glasgow based DJ BUNTY.
