Future Funk Squad Intro:
Future Funk Squad (aka Glen Nicholls) started producing when he was just 15, initially writing songs of various styles influenced by the likes of 'Depeche Mode'. In 1991 Glen was introduced to ambient and house music by his friend Mark Pritchard (Jedi Knights/Global Communication), this led to a few experiments with the club sound fusing his influences of The Prodigy, Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Depeche Mode and many more. A few years later in 1997, Glen had his first release under the name 'Instinct' on top D'N'B label 'Moving Shadow'.

Throughout this time Glen had been experimenting with a manner of different styles of music including producing bands and solo artists. The Future Funk Squad was born in 1999 when Glen accidentally stumbled upon the 'Nu-skool' sound by making a d'n'b track too slow! This was released on a limited number of whites and was instantly picked up by the likes of DJ Hyper, Jody Wisternoff 'Way Out West', Tipper, Lee Burridge and many more. His debut remix of the Raze classic 'Break 4 love' put him firmly on the breaks map and is still played today by the likes of the Stanton Warriors & Terminal Head amongst others.

40 odd remixes later including Moloko, SIA, Stanton Warriors, Koma+Bones, Mint Royale, Rob Dougan... Glen finds himself in constant demand and has become a respected name on the breakbeat scene, DJing all over the globe.

2005 sees the release of his debut album "Audio Damage" where all his influences from the past are fused together along with the help of his guest vocalists like the amazing Tamra. FFS are playing rare live sets that arent just pushing the breaks scene to its limits there also gaining mass appeal after there headline gigs at Glastonbury and The Glades Festival. Glenns also responsible for the opening title track on EA Sports FIFA 2005 Football game "Sorcerary".Perfect example of FFS at its best!
