MC Fury Intro: Liverpool born MC Fury started Mcing around 9 years ago, influenced by hip hop artists like K-lash nek-0ff, Fallacy, Rodney P & Skitz, Blak Twang, Foreign Beggars, and Skinnyman to name a few. He also was inspired by early Hardcore and Jungle dance music with the likes of Slipmatt, Altern 8, Ratpack, LTJ Bukem, Seduction etc, with these musical forms he started to develop and progress his styles and lyrics as a MC. He started to do local house parties and also started at LIPA to develop even more and get a greater knowledege into the industry background. He can also be versitile with his Mcing and as well as his passion for Drum and Bass, he also MCs to Dubstep, Hip Hop, Breaks and Grime.
He has performed with some of Liverpools finest DJs and MCs including MC S.A.S, Sol, DJ-DS, Frisk + Miss Rita, Rekordbreaker, Badboy, Codek and Pumakain amongst many others. He has also performed in alot of venues across Merseyside and has had many residencies also including... Retox, UnderSound, BombScare, One Army, Diversity / Heavy Rot8tion, Witness the Sickness, Sub:Stance, Dimension, Jasbof and Foul Play:DnB to name but a few. He hopes to progress his style even more and MC both nationally and also abroad, as well as starting some productions and radio shows alongside Heavy Rot8tion resident Erbman.
As Liverpool develops even more this year with Drum and Bass nights such as Raw-Kus, Metropolis, Chibuku, Foul Play, One Army, Heavy Rot8tion and Sub:Stance all leading the way, MC Fury is confident the scene is very much alive and here to stay in Liverpool and hopes to stay in the thick of it!
