Frisk (Rushing Beat Crew) first started mixing back in 1995/96 and went on to start his club appearences in 1998. Hosting the 'Drum and Bassment' at Liverpool's biggest and longest running techno night 'Voodoo'. After playing alongside the biggest names in techno, Frisk went on to promote his own night 'Mentalist'. After rocking crowds with other people's tracks, Frisk wanted more and took time out from promoting to start work producing his own tracks. After a couple of years he developed his own recognisable 'sound' and entered what he considered his first professional sounding track into the BBC's 1Xtra cutting room competition which he went on to win and received his first dubplate of his work. Since then Frisk has played most of the north west's Drum and bass nights big and small. Sophonic, Metropolis, Gutterfunk, Nightvision, Dimension, Community Service, Higher Forms (resident), Diversity (resident), Cerebellum (resident), and Strategy to name a few. Not just playing drum an bass, Frisk also demonstrates skills in hip-hop, breaks, reggae... If it's available on vinyl, he'll mix it.
