Revo co founded Evol with Danny Hunt and Reuben Wu of Ladytron in September 2003 at EBGBs' darkly lit subterranean catacombs with djs Richard Fearless, Franz Ferdinand, Mark Moore and live acts The Fat Truckers, Bloc Party and Weird War breathing life into a club night that would change the face of alternative clubbing in Liverpool.

Before 2003, Revo had spent his University years in Manchester deejaying in most of her clubs and bars, somewhat of a journeyman, playing with club nights White Label and Low End Theory mixing eclectic live drum and bass acts like Jimpster with djs such as Mr Scruff, Rob Bright, Dave The Ruff and Chubby Grooves. Club life in Manchester was in decline at venues like the Hacienda and Home and new nights like Justin Robertson's Sleuth at Paradise Factory and Johnno's Bugged Out! at Sankeys Soap took the music back underground, shaping the styles to come.

During 2004 Evol moved to the Liverpool Carling Academy stepping up a level and celebrating her 1st birthday over two weeks with Miss Kittin, Erol Alkan and Brendan Long mixing it up with live acts The Little Flames and The Duke Spirit. A prolific year began with Revo playing alongside and booking up and coming cutting edge artists Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Mystery Jets, Nine Black Alps, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs, JoJo De Freq, Black Strobe, Optimo, The Faint, Mount Sims, Death In Vegas, Arthur Baker, Radio Slave, Cut Copy, Adult., The Beat Up, 747s, The Zutons, Whitey, Pink Grease and The Micronauts.

The dark techno beast that is Voodoo clawed back retirement around the same time with Revo and Brendan Long working alongside maverick founder Sam Jones celebrating Voodoo's return with Green Velvet, Terence Fixmer, The Hacker, DJ Bone, Ade Fenton, Chris Finke and Speedy J.

In 2005 Revo left Voodoo to concentrate on Evol and the Korova Project. Working with Rob Gutmann, Ladytron and designer Richard Eastwood, Korova was developed over a year and opened in September 2005 with Revo handed the role of Artistic Director and Evol becoming the new venues flagship Friday night, providing the umbrella for gigs and clubs every night of the week.

Joined by new residents Enable Mr Porn, Revo plays weekly at Korova supported by the Ladytron boys when they're not touring the globe and Evol has continued to bring the best touring and new emerging bands to Liverpool, The Sunshine Underground, Pop Levi, Fields, The Delta Fiasco, Larrikin Love, Princess Superstar, The Kooks, White Rose Movement, The Presets, To My Boy, Klaxons, Liars, Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Chip, The Spinto Band, Semifinalists, The Longblondes, Adult., The Virgin Tears, Motor, The Robocop Kraus, The Shortwave Set, Ladytron, Robots In Disguise, The Longcut, Shitdisco, Hiem, Metronomy, Good Books, Red Organ Serpent Sound and Dan Sartain. Evol celebrated her 2nd birthday with 2 Many DJs, Revo, Brendan Long and New York's The Juan Maclean causing hysteria throughout Korovas 3 rooms.

Evol has also fielded successful teams abroad with Revo deejaying at parties in Barcelona, Basel, Palm Springs and Los Angeles with further jaunts charted into unknown territories in the near future. Liverpool's afterparty King and perpetually busy promoter Revo will be making his Chibuku Shake Shake debut alongside M.A.N.D.Y. on June 10th.
