With influences from acid jazz, global beats and UK hip-hop, The Barefoot DJ creates a soundscape of new and old. With a passion for music that has even seen him sleep with his guitar – The Barefoot DJ prepares a feast of aural pleasure, creating head music for the feet. Currently favourite labels include GAMM, Raw Fusion, Compost and Schema. Heading up the Philosophie Collective, Will also freelances for BBCi as well as promoting the collective's events.

Appearances have been made for Mersey TV, Rock FM (Emap), Kanya (Ibiza), Orange Enjoymusic Tour, Fruitstock 2004, After Dark 2003 & 2004, Virgin Move 2004, Inner City Living 2005 and many more.

Philosophie, founded in 1998, is a collective of five DJs each with their own individual music styles and techniques. Philosophie avoids the mainstream and plays cool cuts and selected beats. The Philosophie DJs have a passion for music and together create something different for the more discerning audience. Club events have included the Orange Enjoymusic Tour, London Film Festival, After Dark London 2003 & 2004, Virgin Move, Fruitstock (Innocent Drinks) and The Real Music Festival amongst others. They have DJ'd with DJ Yoda, Pete Gooding (Café Mambo, Ibiza), Xpress 2, Martin Brew (J-Walk) and many more.

Their current residencies include Modo, Liverpool and Hush, Preston.
