Ian Berry, Jambossa resident bought his first pair of decks in 1999 and hasn't looked back ever since. Exceptionally musically talented (there are few instruments he can't play!) and with a passion for house music, it was inevitable that Djing would become his chosen path.

The last few years have seen Ian hold down residencies in bars and clubs across the North West, predominantly in his hometown of Warrington and Chester, before getting his big break with his residency at Jambossa, the newest house night to be held in Liverpool's premier club venue, BarFly (The Masque).

Although his love for vinyl ran for many years, Ian has, like so many others, more recently dedicated himself solely to playing on CDJs on which his incredible talent for effects and versatile DJ style are more suited.
Depending on the occasion, his style can vary but Ian would most usually be found playing driving, dirty electronic underground house music. Sometimes it will be progressive, sometimes it will be tribal and melodic but always it will be guaranteed to entertain.

So far 2005 has been a very productive year for Ian, co-promoting Jambossa whilst continuing his residencies elsewhere. There's no doubt this had led to his DJ profile growing and gaining Ian acclaim from the Jambossa following and fellow artists alike. Ian is certainly moving forward in every aspect and aspires to make Jambossa one of the most talked about nights in the country. With his talents already earning him bookings for other nights across the North West, plus his own productions on the way, watch this space for further developments in the career of a young rising-star!
