Who is Alex Wolfenden? Alex Wolfenden has been Djing for 10 years. Starting of at the age of 16 he has never looked back.

He fell in love with Dance music buy sneaking in to Cream from the age of 15. He was so hooked on the atmosphere and energy that he never missing a night out or a party. After listening and learning from the Masters, Roger Sanchez, Daft Punk, C J Macintosh, DJ Sneak, Carl Cox, Basement Jaxx, Derrick Carter, to name a few who graced the decks in Cream, he used these pioneering influences to form his own style of smooth, sleazy, moody injected electronic music.

In 1998 Alex travelled to IBIZA for the first time, with Yousef as his partner in crime they single headedly began to take over the island. The pair was know for their great personalities, sense of humour and toned bodies. After playing regularly around Liverpool and hosting his own nights, Alex landed a gig @ Cream where his dream began. This opened the way for Alex to play up and down the country and led to gigs in Europe and the rest of the world. After Playing in places such as Hong Kong, New York, L.A, Miami, Ibiza, Alex realised that his future in music was going to be long and prosperous, as he had still only just turned 20.

At this time Alex turned to Music production and enrolled on one of the top Uni courses in The U.K @ Leeds College Of Music. With a musical background stemming from child hood and the ability to play several instruments even before his talents homed in on Djing Alex was already on his was to being an established producer.

Alex while in Leeds; Managed PLAYMUSIC one of the best record shops in the country which was up for Musik Magazine shop of the year. With residencies in Leeds and @ Circus in Liverpool Alex was becoming a well know well-loved character in the music scene.

Alex has played with and warmed up for the likes of Derrick Carter, Yousef, Mark Farina, Lottie, Mazi, David Duriez, Unabombers, DJ Sneak, Paul Woolford, Onionz, Stacey Pullen, Ralph Lawson, Steve Lawler, Layo & Bushwacka, Darren Emerson & MYNC Project to name a few.

Having moved back to his hometown Liverpool Alex had been focusing on his production. Producing Yousef's music as well as his own Alex is working with talented musicians to produce a fresh new edge on the electronic music gendre.

Alex Has been producing for several years now and had already worked with the likes of Nick Fanculli, MYNC, Yousef and Justin Long, having already remixed the likes of Fat Boy Slim, H.C.C.R, Gene Farris. His debut ep on CARIOCA records is due out in Jan 2006. One of the tracks from the ep has just featured on Yousef's renaissance FRONTIERS mix comp. Alex was also heavily involved in the production of Yousef's FRIENDS Comp. Which is receiving good reports and has been doing really well, with support from all the main djs and regular plays on Radio 1. He is ready to step up and is defiantly one to watch not just for now but for a long time to come, with his futuristic slant on music and edged party dj sets the time has come for BAGNASTY.
