John Dean is dj/musician/producer who began his musical journey at a really young age playing guitar and banging beats out when he was just thirteen, it was at that age that he first started performing writing and recording his own compositions, even tho at that point the material wasnt much to boast about it was those early sessions are what got jon hooked on music, jons musical knowledge gels perfectly with his djing and his passion for good records is almost an illness, from heart renching Soulful Vibes straight threw to pure funk sleazy beats, its all about geting people moving there feet. there is no question that john comes guaranteed to move any dance floor. Even so early into his career he has already played alongside some of his heroes, legends an music pionners such as Jazzy B (soul to soul) bobby an steve, Norman Jay, Mr Scruff, Dr Bob Jones, roy ayres, hes even jammed with members of roy ayres band till the early morning after the show at his studio.

Jon was given the job of warming up for the legendary god father of soul house, "Little" Louie Vega at the launch of liverpools Soul Heaven night,wich he continues to play The main focus in jons djing his is resedency at the northwest premier soulfull music venue Gold In The Shade and its dirty sister Downstairs Disco, wich are both held at the musical mecca that is the legendary club "The Magnet". Gold In The Shade and has had the likes of bobby an steve, "Little" Louie Vega, soul2soul, dj deep, roy ayres, groove rider, Idjut Boys, cykn lips, Mr Scruff Ben Westbeech, yam who, an so on all of wich resulting in one of the best true music venues, and Jon is proud to be one its main djs.
