CantMixWontMixShdntMixDontMix (or CMWMSMDM - pronounced 'CummerWummerSummerDummer') are a four man funk machine, but it wasn't always this way... In the Liverpool Summer of 2006, a dream was born... a good humoured dream...

Jay Jay Da Funk the disco punk joined Matt 'Dj' Seamless to embark upon the CantmixWontmix tour '06, commencing at an underground warehouse party in Liverpool. Many a true word has been spoken in jest but little did they know how the dream would grow...

Indeed those underground warehouse parties - headed by homegrown-artist harbouring, haphazardly heroic hedonists GimpFist, alongside chief champions of charity-fundraising charmers Lost Property grew somewhat ghetto fabulous into the familiar family feast of full on fun we now know simply as the 'Mash Parties' - with a different punderful theme each event such as the gangster themed 'Valentine's Mashacre', the super heroes and alter egos party 'Supermash' and 'The Mashquerade Ball' mask party, a bi-monthly beast of bossness was born, raised and in turn cradled it's own combination of creativity CMWMSMDM.

Inherent to the growth of the Mash Parties a further two "DJs" (MustBeBobby and X-Ray Cat) enlisted in the tune choosing troop and now the irreverent brethren were reborn and rebranded as a four piece, full of funk, filth and fresh beats to move yo feets - CantMixWontMixShdntMixDontMix (or CMWMSMDM - pronounced 'CummerWummerSummerDummer').

Revered for their reversesampling revivals, one finger rave techniques and unsurpassed energy behind the decks, the masters of the mash up: CMWMSMDM built upon the storming success of '07 Heaven tour and the funky four have torn through the Titillate '08 Tour like winners - with appearances at Creamfields; Standon Calling; Shoreditch Shuffle; Hendre Hall and Evol's fifth birthday alongside 2 Many DJs and Late Of The Pier, '08 has been a great year for the Mixnots as they embark upon the Brine '09 tour.
