Jamie McHugh Intro:
Jamie McHugh's tracks and remixes are in demand with the worlds best DJs. He has featured on Pete Tong's Essential Selection, The Essential Mix and the Trophy Twins After Show on BBC Radio 1 whilst receiving continued support from the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Darren Emerson, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, The MYNC Project, Nic Fanciulli and James Zabiela. The story really began when his Arcadia track was snapped up by David Duriez's prolific Brique Rouge Label. The follow up "CONfusion" looks certain to mirror that success with a release later this year on sister label, Kill Brique - a label that has already released tracks from the likes of Funk Da Void & Josh Wink. His current track "Wrong" is out now on Dave Seaman's Audio Therapy imprint and is currently causing a stir as part of the Audio Therapy Spring/Summer Sampler 2007.

Jamie has also found the time to remix the MYNC Projects "R U Sure" for CR2's 50th release and With various other remixes under his belt and various other remix projects for Brique Rouge, Kill Brique and Lot49 including his monstrous remix of Meat Katie & D Ramirez's "Stop The Revolution", as well as exciting new original productions ready to be unleashed in the coming weeks, Jamie's keeping himself very busy.

Jamie's mix CDs have found favour with Tom Stephan, Tall Paul and DJ mag who gave rave reviews for one of his mixes in a recent article. Jamie has played alongside everyone from DJ Hyper to Peter Hook (New Order), from Nick Warren to Seamus Haji. He recently headlined at Godskitchen' prestigious Bon Bon Club in Shanghai, China and he runs a successful internet radio show where he has already played host to the likes of King Unique, Nic Fanciulli, Tom Stephan, Paolo Mojo, Justin Martin , Greg Vickers, James Harcourt and Demi to name a few. Not content with having his own radio show Jamie's has also featured as a guest on Kiss100, and supplied guest mixes for Mercury Sessions, Proton & Ministry Of Sound Radio and more recently BBC Radio 1. "Dont ask to define my style quips Jamie; I play everything from deep house to techno, tech house to twisted breaks and everything in between. I like to start off nice and slow and build a mood teasing effects and acapellas into the groove before picking up the pace. He has played at nearly every major club in London including Turnmills, Fabric, Hidden, Fire, The End & the Cross, but also major European spots such as the Triebhouse in Neuss, Germany. Jamie says "I try to use every bit of technology available when playing out, scratching, efx, acapellas and live loops fill my sets".

So whats in store for the next 12 months? Look out for his tracks, Yeah, Wr0ng!, Glitch, & CONfusion all getting released in the next few months as well as high profile remixes for the likes of Lot 49, CR2, Kill Brique & Brique Rouge and with guest slots at some of the worlds best clubs, one things for sure, Jamie McHugh has a very exciting future ahead of him!!!
