After years of collecting vinyl and playing with various bands in the city, formed The Maybes in 1997 gigging round Liverpool and North Wales and in 1998 began spinning vinyl at house parties around Liverpool and London. Playing mainly Soul, Funk and Jazz from a deep collection of vinyl. DJ slots at the recently opened Magnet and Lemon Lounge soon followed.

Summer of 1999 started the now legendary Fifth Dimension night at the Zanzibar Club, Liverpool. Playing eclectic psychedelic 60's and 70's sounds. The night ran for 18 months and became the blueprint for many other successful band nights to follow. The Maybes featured support from local bands such as The Coral, The Icons, Claude Sword, Sexton Ming (Billy Childish) and The Living Brain etc.

In 2003 whilst playing with cult local band The Way set up the Soul Deep parties at Hannah's Bar, Liverpool, mainly playing Deep House and Afro House.

Starting in early 2004 span at the Fact Cinema Bar in Liverpool playing 'cinematic soundscapes' as a backdrop for the theatre goers, through to the Autumn.

In May 2004 began playing at and promoting the Loose Joints music club. Starting off as a Sunday all-dayer in The Kebab House basement, the club has also been a successful event at other venues around Liverpool. At Loose Joints tunes were played from a wide range of music from across the genres and across the decades. Mainly focussing on Disco, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Deep House, Electro and Dub.

Since then continued the Loose Joints vibe, playing as a guest DJ at numerous events, clubs, bars and parties around Liverpool with the occasional invitation to play at clubs and parties in London (Soho and Walthamstow).
