The Cavern Club (10 Mathew Street, Liverpool, L2 6RE)
Intro: Possibly one of the most famous clubs in the world, The Cavern Club was home to the Beatles for over 300 performances. The original Cavern Club was demolished in the early 1970s due to work taking place on the underground rail system. Todays Cavern Club is a reconstructed version, built using the original bricks, and is still as popular as ever. With indie nights, student nights and live bands, the club is packed to the rafters nearly every night of the week and most of the time its free to get in. Outlar will only be listing the odd dance music event from this venue but check out their website for other events.
