My Sakes Mini Festival: Part 2 @ The Pilgrim Cost/Time: £3 nus / £4 / £2 after 10 » 7pm - 11pm Style/Keywords: Downtempo, Dub, indie, Acoustic, folk, Jazz, Blues LineUp: Kibbo Kift, Ian Bennet & The Brothers Sol Two days. Seven acts. Cheap drinks: The seven acts have been hand plucked from the length and breadth of the country to showcase their talents for two days at The Pilgrim in Liverpool. There is such a wide variety of music that there is something for everyone. To get this much unknown, unsigned talent into a venue for two days is not to be missed and there is plenty of musical surprises to be unearthed. KIBBO KIFT A hard working Manchester based band who play, not only original, but innovative, modern fusion instrumentals which feature energetic drum and bass/funk style rhythms provided by the drums and bass, gorgeous jazz induced keyboard, guitar harmonies and clever, soaring and intricate melodies from the saxophone and trombonists. IAN BENNET AND THE BROTHERS OF SOL Ian Bennett and the Brothers of Sol from London are a lively bunch of jazzy, bluesy folk writers inspired by the likes of Muddy Waters, Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley.

Event / Venue Details... My Sakes Intro: The music industry is pretty odd the way it works out but its what i want to do more than anything because i have a deep passion for music . My Sakes promotions is a company that is now growing in stature and has now moved to Bar Fresa. The whole point of the night is to showcase bands/djs who do not get enough exposure whether this be unsigned, signed or bands on independant labels,if you are good enough ill book you. It is an electric mix my night due to there being all kinds of different genres of music. This will include breaks, house, drum and bass, electronica, hip hop, indie, jazz etc etc. You will be astounded for sure.
