Intro: Dorsia is the brain child of Manchester born Benjamin Gwatkin whilst at the University of Liverpool in the fall of 2008. Fed up with the lack of credible nights during the week, & a growing interest in electronic music and promotion Dorsia was born. After an incredible opening night on Thursday 16th of October in the loft of the Liverpool’s premier venue The Barfly, pumping out the finest tech-house beats, it was settled Dorsia was here to stay. Now at a new home at The Magnet with residents Ben Proudlove (formally of Superfly DJs), Jorden Paul and Rob Dutton Dorsia is dedicated to bringing decent music to the week nights in Liverpool. After a string of successful nights and collaborations with Amnesty International & Cactus Dorsia is transforming going out during the week in Liverpool. ‘Why aren’t we at Dorsia?’
